Hello everyone! I joined C-sea a little while ago but never really took part in the forum. It wasn't until today that I saw an email about the next club meeting. However, before I go I feel I should participate some on the page and introduce myself and my tank. I'm 27 and my tank has taken over my hobby life although I am getting back into other things. I am fortunate enough to get plenty of time with my tank everyday and I am constantly tweaking things. I like to build equipment and try and run my tank as low cost and low maintenance as possible. So here's a run down! Inhabitants: 1 Ocellarus Clownfish 1 Misbar Darwin Clownfish 1 Yellow Corris Wrasse 1 Royal Gramma 1 Fire fish 1 Mccosker Flasher Wrasse 1 Dispar Anthias 3 Blue-green Chromis 1 Mandarin 1 Yellow tang 1 Cleaner shrimp And a handful of snails Equipment: DIY PVC 1 inch overflow DIY 3 chamber sump DIY Counter Current Protien Skimmer DIY tank tops 2 Black Box LEDs Jebao RW-15 and a 1500gph powerhead Apex Lab Grade Kit and Breakout Box ATO I run 1 filter sock and use a huge amount of Lava Rock for bio-media. Maintenance: I clean my entire tank every Monday and do a 10%-20% water change. By cleaning I mean I change my socks, scrape the walls, brush the rocks, and siphon the sandbed. Everyday I test for ALK and I test Calcium 2 times a week. Corals: I have a pretty good mix of Softies,LPS, and SPS corals. I've just recently gotten into Acropora and am having decent success. It's hard for me to pick a favorite Coral right now. And some pictures!
